REDUCE 3.7 Licence Agreement

The REDUCE 3.7 System is distributed according to the licensing agreement between Codemist Ltd and Anthony C. Hearn, which imposes the following restrictions on licensees:

1. The system is licensed for a single processor or a single file server, and the system may not be further sublicensed or distributed.
2. The software carries a copyright notice from the RAND Corporation, and this notice may not be removed.
3. The software is provided as is without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including, but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. The entire risk as to the quality and performance of the program is with the licensee. Neither Codemist Ltd nor Anthony C. Hearn make any claim about its suitability for any particular task, and will not be liable for any damages, including lost profits, lost savings or other incidental or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use such a program.

The software may be copied for the legitimate purpose of maintaining backups, and Codemist Ltd will endeavour to provide support and advice for six months from dispatch.
