REDUCE Distribution Information

General information

For licence information about REDUCE and Codemist Standard LISP (CSL) please have a look at the Reduce Licence and CSL Licence. Following the recent release of sources to Codemist we are pleased to announce that as from April 2004 CSL REDUCE 3.8 is available for the following computers.

Note that at present REDUCE is not available pre-compiled for Intel-based OSX.

Personal REDUCE

For most smaller personal machine there is a Personal REDUCE available at a greatly reduced price (see price lists below).

Prices

Codemist Ltd, being a company registered in England, prices all its products in pounds sterling. There are two price lists; the first is for all customers within the European Union, and the second for all other countries. The differences are related to differing taxation regimes and postage.

If you trust the Certificate signed by CaCert you can use the Web order form

If you do not trust the certificate, then please use the order form for ordering single copies of REDUCE, and send by physical mail. Contact Codemist directly for information on site licences.

The software is distributed on an as-is basis without any warranty.

For GNU/Linux, PCs and MAC it is normally supplied on CD-R. For other machines the media is as mutually agreeable; we can ftp systems as well. For PCs and MACs it may still be possible to supply on floppy disk; contact us for details. Send orders and further questions to

Patches available

The latest patch update is dated 11 Jan 2007, and can be automatically installed using the REDUCE Update button, or from reduce-algebra.com.

Demonstration System

There is a demonstration system for PC available here. (Note that this file is 29Mb, md5sum is bffb5a05902847279c4cd82b54a491b6). Other demonstration systems will be available soon. Note that demonstration systems are fully functional except they are without a garbage collector, and cannot be updated with patches etc.
